Hr Officer

Job description

We are looking for an Hr Officer to help us delivering a quality employee experience at Skipr, with focus on managing and advising on administrative HR aspects such as compensation & benefits, policies, personnel files and social legislation.


HR & Administration tasks (90%) :

  • You will be responsible of payroll administration in cooperation with SD Worx
  • You will advise internal employees about all kinds of social and legal matters as to social legislation, remuneration, holiday allowance and holiday rights, …
  • You will be in charge of the personnel administration (contracting, benefits, policies implementation and follow-up) and report frequently and correctly about personnel data (headcount, rotation, compensation & benefits, absenteeism due to illness,...)
  • You evaluate the current processes, tools and procedures and formulate proposals on how to significantly optimise working procedures and you document it in our HR toolkit
  • You participate in payroll-related projects
  • You will contribute to the onboarding and offboarding process, together with HR colleagues
  • You will work closely with the People and Culture Lead and the CFO and offer your support in the implementation of HR initiatives

Office management (10%) :

  • Manage general office operation (supplies, orders & deliveries, coordinate office facilities and equipment, etc.)
  • Support in the organization of team events and activities

Job requirements


  • You are a native French or Dutch speaker and fluent in English (written and oral)
  • You have minimum 1 year experience as a HR generalist or Payroll Specialist
  • You are proactive and like to work independently
  • You love multi-task work and are detail oriented
  • You are client and solution oriented
  • You are well organized and know how to prioritize
  • You can manage your emotions positively in challenging circumstances
  • You have a supportive mindset and are happy to help colleagues with their HR and team life related questions
  • You are tech friendly (everything is digital at Skipr, except coffee and cakes 😉 )
